Yours truly,

Shall not mention it but was really bad. If only i get a decent result that can get me in Express, i will not be in phss STILL.
Its kind of sad seeing so many people with the same age as me went up to poly , and i swear mostly went to JC. I think god is playing some games with me because as far as i know, a number of my primary schoolmate get into JC, jealous but i know its stressful yeh.
And i guess i should stop now because i'm lacking of words, afraid that i might typed out too much crap later on, so bye guys!

Up all night

Lets do a 'book review', shall we?.

Start of with my favourite author, Nicholas Sparks. Some introduction about him .
Nicholas Charles Sparks was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on December 31, 1965, the second son of Patrick Michael (1942-1996) and Jill Emma Marie (Thoene) Sparks (1942-1989). His siblings are Michael Earl Sparks (b. Dec. 1964), and Danielle Sparks (b. Dec. 1966, d. June, 2000). As a child, he lived in Minnesota, Los Angeles, and Grand Island, Nebraska, finally settling in Fair Oaks, California, at the age of eight. His father was a professor, his mother a homemaker, then an optometrist’s assistant. He lived in Fair Oaks through high school, graduated valedictorian in 1984, and received a full track scholarship to the University of Notre Dame.

So... I've read these books from him.

In sequence.
The Guardian

Description:

Julie Barenson’s young husband left her two unexpected gifts before he died – a puppy named Singer and the promise that he would always be watching over her. Now, four years later, twenty-nine year-old Julie is far too young to have given up on love. She may be ready to risk caring for someone again. But who? Should it be Richard Franklin, the sophisticated, handsome engineer who treats her like a queen? Or Mike Harris, the down-to-earth nice guy who was her husband’s best friend? Choosing one of them should bring her more happiness than she’s had in years. Instead, Julie is soon fighting for her life in a nightmare spawned by a chilling deception and jealousy so poisonous that it has become a murderous desire . . .

I wish that all Nicholas Sparks's novel have motion picture. This book no doubt make me in love with his novel.

Dear John

Description:

An angry rebel, John dropped out of school and enlisted in the Army, not knowing what else to do with his life—until he meets the girl of his dreams, Savannah. Their mutual attraction quickly grows into the kind of love that leaves Savannah waiting for John to finish his tour of duty, and John wanting to settle down with the woman who has captured his heart. But 9/11 changes everything. John feels it is his duty to re-enlist. And sadly, the long separation finds Savannah falling in love with someone else. “Dear John,” the letter read…and with those two words, a heart was broken and two lives were changed forever. Returning home, John must come to grips with the fact that Savannah, now married, is still his true love—and face the hardest decision of his life.

This book is epic. I love the movie so much, but its kind of sad that Savannah cant be together with John even though they still in love with each other. Their so sweet in the movie.Kind of wish that dear john will have a sequel.

True beliver

Description:

Jeremy Marsh is the ultimate New Yorker: handsome, almost always dressed in black, and part of the media elite. An expert on debunking the supernatural with a regular column in “Scientific American,” he’s just made his first appearance on national TV. When he receives a letter from the tiny town of Boone Creek, North Carolina, about ghostly lights that appear in a legend-shrouded cemetery, he can’t resist driving down to investigate. Here, in this tightly knit community, Lexie Darnell runs the town’s library, just as her mother did before the accident that left Lexie an orphan. Disappointed by past relationships, including one that lured her away from home, she is sure of one thing: her future is in Boone Creek, close to her grandmother and all the other people she loves. Jeremy expects to spend a quick week in “the sticks” before speeding back to the city. But from the moment he sets eyes on Lexie, he is intrigued and attracted to this beautiful woman who speaks with a soft drawl and confounding honesty. And Lexie, while hesitating to trust this outsider, finds herself thinking of Jeremy more than she cares to admit. Now, if they are to be together, Jeremy Marsh must make a difficult choice: return to the life he knows, or do something he’s never done before—take a giant leap of faith. A story about taking chances and following your heart, True Believer will make you, too, believe in the miracle of love.

I love how two strangers can get in love so fast! And that miracle did happened in them!
True Believer was one of two books that Nicholas wrote in a year. (The second is At First Sight, the sequel to True Believer, which i'm reading it now! can't wait to know the ending!) Will say about At first sight after i read!

The last song

Description:
Seventeen year-old Veronica “Ronnie” Miller’s life was turned upside-down when her parents divorced and her father moved from New York City to Wilmington, North Carolina. Three years later, she remains angry and alienated from her parents, especially her father… until her mother decides it would be in everyone’s best interest if she spent the summer in Wilmington with him. Ronnie’s father, a former concert pianist and teacher, is living a quiet life in the beach town, immersed in creating a work of art that will become the centerpiece of a local church. The tale that unfolds is an unforgettable story about love in its myriad forms – first love, the love between parents and children – that demonstrates, as only a Nicholas Sparks novel can, the many ways that deeply felt relationships can break our hearts… and heal them.

And i just get to know that 'The last song' was the longest novel Nicholas Sparks has written, no wonder it takes a while for me to read this!. I just watched finished the movie and it was great, though i didn't tears( not that i'm a cold blooded), it was touching enough.Jonah is so cute in the movie , Ronnie and Will look great too.

A walk to remember

Description
Every April, when the wind blows from the sea and mingles with the scent of lilacs, Landon Carter remembers his last year at Beaufort High. It was 1958, and Landon had already dated a girl or two. He even swore that he had once been in love. Certainly the last person in town he thought he’d fall for was Jamie Sullivan, the daughter of the town’s Baptist minister. A quiet girl who always carried a Bible with her schoolbooks, Jamie seemed content living in a world apart from the other teens. She took care of her widowed father, rescued hurt animals, and helped out at the local orphanage. No boy had ever asked her out. Landon would never have dreamed of it. Then a twist of fate made Jamie his partner for the homecoming dance, and Landon Carter’s life would never be the same. Being with Jamie would show him the depths of the human heart and lead him to a decision so stunning it would send him irrevocably on the road to manhood…

I've finished reading this just yesterday before starting off to 'At first sight', and i watched the movie too! Of course i would rather Jamie not to die, although in the book i thought that Jamie actually lived.
Mandy Moree, which is the actor that acted Jamie, she was so stunning!, she sings well and etc. Cool.
Found it at Nicholas Sparks's website.
Either the miracle was that Jamie lived (if that was the ending you imagined), or that Landon had experienced the miracle of first love and it had redeemed him (if you imagined that Jamie died).

No doubt, the novel that i wanted to read the most is 'The notebook" , i've seen the movie and it was fantastic, the man was just so in love with the women , even though the old lady didn't remember him some of the time, he tells her their story without fail. How touching it is?
And next will be 'The lucky one', which is one of the movie showing now on big screen!
