MUMMY, COME HOME

Tricked into prostitution by her best friend, Oxana was torn from her children in Ukraine and trafficked into the UK, where she was imprisoned in a Birmingham sauna and forced to service up to 15 clients a night. Raped, beaten and abused, she was sickened by what she had become. Oxana only had one thing left in the world to live for: the thought of being reunited with her children. But even if she escaped she had no idea how she′d get them back... But where so many women are destroyed forever by such violence and suffering, her unbending love for her children and her unshakeable determination meant that even in her darkest hour, the flame of hope in Oxana′s heart was never extinguished. Spurred on by this faith, that one day she would be reunited with her children, Oxana found the strength to break free from prostitution and her captors and continue her fight to be a mother once more. She would hold her children in her arms again.

From the age of four, David Thomas carried with him the most terrible secret of all - his mother was sexually abusing him every time she got drunk. When sober, David's mother was the perfect mother. David adored her. But when drunk she turned into the monster of David's worst nightmares. Confusingly, when she sobered up, David's mother could never recall anything she'd done. David as completely alone with the daily horror. But things soon became even worse when his stepfather started beating him senseless. Locked in a downward spiral of self-loathing, David did anything to try to forget life at home. Even if it meant breaking the law.

And now, since i'm addicted to such book , i borrowed this book in my school library today!.

From the age of 3, Vanessa lived in daily terror of her mother's unpredictable rage. If she was 'naughty', her mother would lash out at her – with beatings, torture, starvation and making Vanessa sleep in their garden's pigsty, tied up like an animal. Her mother said her punishments were God's revenge on her for being the devil's child. Her father lived in denial of her suffering. When she was 6 years old, Vanessa's grandfather began to sexually abuse her – to her despair, aided and abetted by both her mother and grandmother. At eight years old, she then discovered that the 'mother' who hated her so much had adopted her as a baby and would never love her as her own. At the most horrific times of Vanessa's abuse, she nearly lost all hope that she would escape her prison, until mysterious things started to happen to her that allowed her to fight back. This is the story of how Vanessa survived a childhood that nearly destroyed her and how her secret led her out of the horrors of her past.

I believe i will love this book... Nabilah and me is so over with all these books, perhaps buying some from the popular.
bye guys!
